All orders placed through the Gold Vault Store platform are dispatched via specialist precious metals logistics providers, fully insured, and tracked end-to-end. We do not ship via standard postal services or uninsured couriers under any circumstances.

Processing time is typically 1–3 business days from the date payment clears. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next available business day. We do not dispatch orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or internationally recognized bank holidays.
Large or high-value orders may require additional verification and preparation time. You will be notified by email if your order requires extended processing.

Shipment insurance
Every shipment dispatched by Gold Vault Store is insured for the full replacement value of the contents at the time of dispatch, based on the prevailing gold spot price. Insurance coverage is active from the moment the parcel is collected by our logistics partner until it is successfully delivered and signed for.
- Insurance is automatically included in all orders — no opt-in is required
- Coverage is based on replacement value at spot price on the date of dispatch
- Insurance becomes void if the recipient provides an incorrect delivery address
- Insurance does not cover delays, only loss or physical damage in transit
- Coverage ends upon successful delivery confirmation and signature
In the event of a confirmed loss in transit, Gold Vault Store will initiate an insurance claim on your behalf and arrange a replacement shipment or full refund at the current spot price within 10–15 business days of claim confirmation.
Signature on delivery
A valid signature from an authorized recipient is mandatory for all Gold Vault Store deliveries without exception. Our logistics partners are instructed not to leave parcels unattended, in a safe place, or with a neighbor under any circumstances.

If a delivery is signed for by an unauthorized person or the parcel is accepted without a signature due to the recipient’s instructions, Gold Vault Store bears no liability for any subsequent loss, theft, or damage.
Customs, duties & import taxes
Gold Vault Store ships internationally and complies with all applicable export regulations from our dispatch location. However, importing gold is subject to the laws and regulations of the destination country, which vary significantly.
- All applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and handling fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer
- Gold Vault Store does not pre-pay, estimate, or advise on import duties — consult your local customs authority
- Shipments are declared accurately and in full — we do not under-declare values or falsify customs documentation
- Customs processing may add significant time to delivery estimates and is outside our control
- Orders refused at customs or seized by authorities are not eligible for a refund
It is your responsibility to verify that importing gold is legal in your country before placing an order. Gold Vault Store accepts no liability for goods seized, held, or destroyed by customs authorities.
Order tracking
A tracking number is issued to you via email when your order is dispatched. You can use this number to monitor your shipment in real time through our courier partner’s tracking portal.
- Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after dispatch
- For Economy Insured shipments to emerging markets, tracking updates may be less frequent
- If your tracking status has not updated for more than 5 business days, please contact our support team
- Tracking links are sent to the email address registered with your order — ensure it is correct at checkout
For security reasons, Gold Vault Store does not publicly disclose the identity of our logistics partners. Tracking will be accessible via a secure link provided in your dispatch confirmation email.
Failed & missed deliveries
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier partner will leave a notification card at the delivery address. The following applies to missed deliveries:
- The recipient must arrange redelivery or collection within 5 business days of the failed attempt
- If no action is taken within this window, the shipment will be returned to our secure facility
- Re-dispatch of returned shipments will incur an additional shipping fee payable by the buyer
- Gold Vault Store is not responsible for losses arising from repeated failed deliveries due to the recipient’s unavailability

Restricted & unsupported regions
Gold Vault Store is unable to ship to certain regions due to international sanctions, local import prohibitions, carrier restrictions, or our own risk assessment. Restricted regions are subject to change and are updated without notice.
If you attempt to place an order to a restricted destination, you will be notified at checkout. If a destination becomes restricted after an order is placed but before dispatch, you will be offered a full refund at the confirmed order price.
We do not ship to countries subject to UN, EU, US OFAC, or UK sanctions. Attempting to circumvent these restrictions is a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Lost shipments
A shipment is considered lost if it has not been delivered within the following timeframes beyond the estimated delivery window, with no tracking movement recorded:
Standard & express
14 business days beyond the estimated delivery date
Economy insured
28 business days beyond the estimated delivery date
To report a lost shipment, contact our claims team at claims@goldvaultstore.com with your order number and tracking reference. We will open a formal investigation with our logistics partner. Upon confirmation of loss, we will process a replacement or full refund at the current spot price within 10–15 business days.
All lost shipment claims are covered by our carrier insurance. You will not be required to bear any financial loss for a shipment confirmed lost while in transit.
